Paper Planes is one of my favourite travel blogs, written by Alana, an American living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Alana’s articles speak truths about expat life that i find myself really relating to. She shares both the really good bits, and the unimagined turmoils of creating a life on the other side of the world. In some of my favourite posts she talks about the unexpected side effects of three years of living abroad, the fear related to going home, and why we should always remember the little things.
Her posts about Chiang Mai take me straight back to that beautiful, laid back city, sharing beautifully observed insightful little details of life, the people and the place.
Of course, she also posts beautiful photographs from Thailand, Asia and beyond, further inspiring my wanderlust!
I was thrilled when Alana invited me to guest post on her Day-to-Day series, looking at a day in the life of expats around the world.
If you’d like to find out more about Hong Kong life, or read about my typical days, pop on over to Paper Planes for a look!
Have a lovely weekend!
